November 1. Wall Street Journal

''Who Needs to Eat?''
Americans are spending a lot of money on new technology like new 3D t.v.'s, iPhones, and Macbook Pro computers. Electronic sales went up 1.8% from last year, and furniture fell 11%. People think that if they buy all this expensive and nice stuff that it will help the economy get better and make life easy for everybudy, but what they dont know is that electronics only make up about 1.2% of the economy. I think its rediciulus the way people will sepnd $400+ on a phone, or $2000 on a stereo system, I mean how stupid are people theses days? Kids think that since its new they have to have it to keep with the future and everything around them.

"A Career Crystal Ball"
The future of jobs will almost double by the year 2018. The Biomedical Engineer occupation is expected to grow 72% by 2018. From looking at charts and stats, the medical field would be the place job to go into becouse almost every medical jog will be expeceted to grow no less than 38% by 2018. I think the reason jobs are getting more open is becouse people are retiring and with the way babies are coming in so fast were gonna have to add medical staff.

"Your Body, Your Life"
In high school, students tend to stay fit and stay in shape where they dont gain much weight, well some people do at least. When kids get into college, they dont run, workout or anything they just drink beer and eat all the time and think there not gonna get fat. Most college students have to learn how to live on there own like what they should eat, what time to go to bed, etc. Students should run, workout, exercise, everday they get a chance to. That would prevent them from gaining weight and getting lazy. A lot of college students do run and take care of thereself which is a good thing but the certain few that dont are gonna regret not running all the time becouse when they get old there gonna be fat and never wanna do anything.
